EDOF IOL Options: AUSCRS Breakfast

Ophthalmologists attending the 2024 AUSCRS (Australasian Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons) conference on Hamilton Island this July are invited to attend an exclusive breakfast symposium focussed on extending the depth of focus in intraocular lens (IOL) options.

The event, sponsored by Bausch and Lomb, will take place on Friday, 26 July, at the Beach Pavilion on Catseye Beach.

The symposium, titled ‘Extending the depth of focus: exploring IOL options and approaches in the treatment of normal and challenging corneas’, will feature presentations from three distinguished speakers:
• Dr Luke Anderson from the United Kingdom will discuss ‘LuxSmart: surgeon or patient choice?’
• Dr Audrey Talley Rostov from the United States will address ‘IOL selection in complex corneas’.
• Moderator and speaker, Dr Aanchal Gupta from Australia will round out the presentations with a talk on ‘Keratoconus and cataract: novel approach for optimising the cornea prior to IC-8 implantation.”
