Shamir has won four Australian Business Awards (ABA), recognising the innovation in its products.
The award winners were:
- Shamir Glacier Express for both Lifestyle Innovation and for New Product Innovation,
- Shamir Autograph Intelligence for Product Innovation, and
- Shamir Driver Intelligence for Design Innovation

Autograph Intelligence is a progressive lens that is optimally tailored to individual wearers’ needs and visual age. It uses artificial intelligence deliver 12 innovative progressive lens concepts, each tailored to the needs of specific visual ages and zone usage profiles.
The Driver Intelligence range consists of two pairs of driving-dedicated, premium lenses – Sun for daylight driving and Moon for low-light and nighttime conditions. The lens integrates Shamir’s lens technology and design methodology with einsights from BTW Alpine F1 Team pro drivers. Shamir said the lenses help to deliver the clearest and sharpest vision, with enhanced colour contrast, boosting performance on the road and enabling a confident and safe driving experience.
The Australian Business Awards were announced earlier this month.
