The DryEyeClub is hosting a free, patient-focused seminar, entitled ‘Everyday dry eye’, to coincide with dry eye awareness month in July.
The online event will cover issues such as:
- What can make dry eye symptoms worse?
- When dry eye becomes more than an eye problem: Understanding patient experiences and quality of life,
- Everyday use of dry eye treatments by patients, and
- Patient lived experience with dry eye disease.
The webinar will hear from leading dry eye research experts and clinicians including Dr David Sullivan, founder and Chair of the Tear Film and Ocular Surface Society (TFOS); Professor Stephanie Watson OAM FARVO, Head of Ophthalmology and Head of Corneal Research Group, Sydney Medical School, the University of Sydney, and Head Corneal Unit Sydney Eye Hospital; and Dr Himal Kandel and Dr Ngozi Chidi-Egboka, Research Fellows from the Corneal Research Group.
