LINDBERG Eyewear: 40 Years of Engineering Excellence

For 40 years, LINDBERG has confidently redefined eyewear through minimalistic design, innovation, and personalisation. Rooted in Danish design tradition, the brand has built its legacy on lightweight titanium frames and uncompromising craftsmanship, proving that true luxury lies in thoughtful and refined engineering.

To mark this milestone, LINDBERG has introduced a 40-Year Anniversary Capsule Collection, a tribute to the designs that have shaped its heritage, reinterpreted for today.

Additionally, a 40-Year Anniversary edition of LINDBERG’s Precious collection – comprising just 40 pieces worldwide – pays tribute to the brand’s enduring ethos.

Founded in 1986 by Henrik Lindberg and Poul-Jørn Lindberg, 40 years on, LINDBERG eyewear’s fusion of architectural design and eyewear comfort remains unparalleled.

At the heart of the brand’s 40-Year Anniversary Capsule Collection are three iconic titanium rim styles honouring the past while embracing contemporary aesthetics. The signature ultra-lightweight titanium construction remains, paired with sleek 3D dynamic shaped inner rims and matching acetate end tips. The result is a sophisticated, dimensional expression of classic silhouettes.

Jackie is a panto shape with LINDBERG’s signature titanium rim design, enhanced by dynamically shaped acetate inner rims and acetate end tips. The round Harley combines the brand’s legendary titanium design with acetate details for a modern twist. And Max is a soft square shape, offering a bold yet elegant silhouette with the same refined acetate and titanium elements.

The Capsule Collection also introduces a new spirit titanium design. This is LINDBERG’s first double-bridged rimless frame, and with rectangular lenses and a striking architectural double bridge, it adds a confident expression to the brand’s iconic rimless universe.

The spirit titanium collection is available in optical and sun models. Model 171036 is a soft masculine optical frame while 171037 has been designed to elevate any outfit with a variety of colour lenses, including the newly launched solid burgundy, a classic autumnal hue.

Exclusively Precious

The LINDBERG Precious collection represents the most exclusive expression of eyewear design – where fine jewellery craftsmanship meets Danish minimalism. Handcrafted in LINDBERG’s artisanal atelier by skilled goldsmiths, each frame is made to measure for the wearer; shaped, polished, and set entirely by hand, revealing the natural beauty of solid 18K gold – rich, refined, and unmistakably precious.

The 40-year anniversary edition of LINDBERG’s Precious collection is handcrafted in solid 18K white gold and embedded with 40 round rubies along the temples; symbols of passion, precision, and the passage of time.

Two more exclusive creations have been added to the Precious collection, each defined by intentional design, material excellence, and meticulous artistry: Rainbow and Rhodis.

Rainbow, a study in colour and clarity, reimagines nature’s light spectrum through a distinctly LINDBERG lens. Sculpted in 18K rose gold, each temple is adorned with a constellation of seven baguette-cut fancy sapphires, arranged in a refined yet radiant colour progression. Entirely handmade, the result is both poetic and precise, released as an exclusive limited edition of just 30 pieces worldwide.

Rhodis, meaning ‘rose’ in Greek, features two exceptionally rare emerald-cut pink diamonds, each complimented by six exquisite colourless diamonds. Handcrafted in 18K rose gold, Rhodis is a true collector’s edition. A singular, one-of-a-kind masterpiece, reflecting a level of rarityand mastery found only within LINDBERG Precious.

Design Awards for Lindberg

Coinciding with its 40th year of eyewear design, LINDBERG has been recognised with two of the world’s most coveted distinctions in design in 2026.

The brand’s new blok titanium collection has received both the prestigious 2026 iF Design Award and Red Dot Design Award. With these dual accolades, LINDBERG’s total number of international design awards has reached 114 to date.

Recognised globally as benchmarks for outstanding design, the iF and Red Dot design awards uphold strict standards of innovation, functionality, craftsmanship, and quality. Each year, thousands of submissions from over 60 countries are evaluated by international expert juries, making these honours a trusted symbol of design excellence worldwide.

With the front and hinges laser-cut from a single titanium sheet, LINDBERG’s new blok titanium collection bends the rules. The patented cylindric hinges have evolved into a bold cubic dimension, precision-twisted without screws, marking a new chapter for LINDBERG engineering. The angular, full-frame titanium design offers a sculptural identity for a broader audience, with infinite combinations of titanium and groove colours balancing industrial edge with personal expression.

As the design world continues to evolve, these awards demonstrate that LINDBERG, under Kering Eyewear’s leadership, remains at the forefront, proving that true innovation is timeless and boundless.
