The 19th Annual Asia-Pacific Vitreo-retina Society (APVRS) Congress is less than two months away from landing on the sunny shores of the Gold Coast, Queensland, and this is one not to be missed.
Specialists across the ophthalmic and eye care profession are encouraged to attend this international event, which will welcome thousands of clinicians, researchers and patient support groups from across the region, with speakers from across the globe.
Themed, ‘Where retina meets the reef’, Congress President Professor Andrew Chang said the event “will deliberately extend its reach across subspecialties”.
“The scientific program will seamlessly bridge vitreoretinal surgery with uveitis, ocular oncology, paediatric retina, and medical retina, while featuring cross-specialty sessions led by experts in cataract, cornea, paediatrics, oculoplastics, glaucoma, and neuro-ophthalmology.”
The program features symposia, panel discussions, workshops, wet labs, and other educational sessions, alongside collegial networking sessions intended to bridge the gaps between national societies and form new partnerships.
