Cetus NanoLaser from A.R.C. Laser uses nanosecond laser pulses for lens fragmentation, providing an alternative to conventional ultrasound phacoemulsification.
Compact and designed to complement existing phaco systems, Cetus enables surgeons to incorporate nanolaser technology into a familiar cataract workflow. Single-use laser handpieces eliminate the cleaning, sterilisation, and tuning required for reusable phaco handpieces.
More than 50,000 nanolaser cataract procedures have been performed worldwide.1 Published comparative studies have demonstrated lower endothelial cell loss and improved preservation of corneal endothelial cell structure with nanosecond laser cataract surgery compared with ultrasound phacoemulsification.2,3
Cetus NanoLaser is now available in Australia and New Zealand exclusively through Spectrum Surgical.
