Marchon Eyewear Australia is seeking an experienced National Merchandiser to play a critical role across the combined eyewear portfolio of Marchon and Marcolin. Supporting some of the world's most recognised eyewear brands, you will help shape merchandise strategy, optimise assortments and drive business performance across Australia and New Zealand. Based in Sydney, this role works closely with local Sales, Marketing and Inventory teams whilst partnering with global merchandising teams and international brand stakeholders. This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of product, sales, marketing and inventory management across two leading eyewear businesses. The role is pivotal in ensuring we have the right products, in the right categories and in the right quantities to maximise sales, profitability and customer satisfaction across both our optical and sunglass portfolios.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead product ratings, market testing and new release planning activities across the Marchon and Marcolin brand portfolios.
• Analyse product performance, sales trends and inventory data to identify opportunities for growth and range optimisation.
• Develop weekly, monthly and seasonal merchandising reports and recommendations to support business decisions.
• Collaborate with global merchandising teams on range planning, product selection and assortment optimisation.
• Support inventory planning through assortment recommendations, SKU rationalisation and product lifecycle management.
• Manage product samples, colour kits and showroom collections across both businesses.
• Coordinate product launches and ensure accurate product setup across internal systems and databases.
• Support key account range reviews and assortment planning initiatives.
• Assist in the development and execution of proprietary product programs and customer-focused collections.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer insights to inform merchandising decisions.

You are analytical, commercially curious and highly organised. You enjoy turning data into actionable insights and can confidently influence stakeholders through well-supported recommendations.

You thrive in a fast-paced environment, balance multiple projects with ease and are equally comfortable working independently or collaborating with teams across different countries and functions.

Skills & Experience

• 5+ years' experience in merchandising, category management or a similar commercial role.
• Strong analytical capability with advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large data sets.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to explain insights and recommendations clearly.
• Experience working with inventory management, assortment planning, product lifecycle management or demand planning teams is highly regarded.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Fashion Merchandising, Marketing or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience within the eyewear, fashion or accessories industries is essential.
