Despite the doom and gloom of the world economic downturn, ODMAFAIR organisers are excited about the interest from the eye care industry in next month’s trade fair.
The number of trade pre- registrations received for the 2009 event on from 10 July is on par with those for the record-breaking 2007 event.
The received registrations reveal the Fair will once again enjoy strong representation from New Zealand and even stronger visitation from interstate professionals, surely taking advantage of the wealth of cut price airfares that the current economic climate has created.
Having captured the enthusiasm and support of the industry over its 17 year history, Odmafair remains Australia’s number one trade fair for the eye wear and eye care industry. The Fair has built an ever-growing, loyal following of those acutely interested in all the innovation, technology and fashion the industry has to offer.
More than 130 companies will come together for the 2009 Odmafair to showcase the very latest the world has to offer over three days at the Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre at Darling Harbour.
“It’s still the hottest calendar date for eye wear and eye care professions in Australia and presents the very latest the world has to offer,” says an organiser spokesman.
