Although the French eyewear manufacturer L’Amy has been exporting its products to Australia for the past 130 years, its local arm, L’Amy Australia will be celebrating 10 years in July.
L’Amy Group is the largest manufacturer of eyewear in France and was established in the village of Morez France in the late 18th century. L’Amy Group has been exporting eyewear to Australia since 1879, winning an award at the Sydney Expo in the same year.
L’Amy Australia’s anniversary will be held at Sydney’s The Loft Cocktail Lounge at King St Wharf from 10 to 12 July by launching three new fashion collections – Chloé Optical, Lanvin and Proenza Schouler.
“This is a great opportunity to mark our 10th anniversary as L’Amy Australia by launching three fantastic new collections and to have a great weekend celebration event with our customers,” said Managing Director Mark Holloway.
Lanvin will also be a welcome addition to L’Amy Australia’s brand portfolio. Lanvin is the oldest French couture house famous for its design and artistry.
According to Mr. Holloway, American brand Proenza Schouler will also add an “industrial edge to the L’Amy fashion portfolio. Its sunglass collection showcases designers Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez’s design winning style won’t disappoint the fashion forward.”
