Open Recruitment has closed its doors in the UK and Australia after offering specialist recruitment services to the optical industry for more than 10 years.
One of the largest specialist optical recruiters in the UK, the business launched into Australia in 2007 and Managing Director, Richard Lonsdale said: “although the Australian business was successful, the enormity of the economic crisis in the UK sadly took its toll on the business there, resulting in the closure of both Open UK and Open Australia. Specialist healthcare recruitment is very niche however with over 10 years solid experience in this area, I am sure the future will bring us new success in Australia,” he said.
