Delegates at Queensland Vision last month (April) had the chance to win thousands of dollars in prizes during the congress by entering the Exhibition Hall Passport Prize draw.
The major prize winners included Richard McLean with the Eyres Sports Collection (valued at AUD$1,000); Shermaine Wong with the Hyatt Regency Coolum Resort accommodation package also (valued at AUD$1,000); Rebecca Lam with the surgical kit and instrument tray from Optical Manufacturers (valued at AUD$800)and Helene Holmes, Glen Horgan, Robert Loader, Rosine Ung, Cindy Vong and Chris Woodford who each won a full registration to Australian Vision Convention 2011 (previously Queensland Vision) on the Gold Coast (valued at AUD$700).
The winner of the mivision PowerSeeker 60EQ telescope was a very excited Lise Matters from Tumut, NSW.
The organisers of Queensland Vision said they would like to thank all exhibitors for donating to the prize pool bringing the total value to over AUD$16,000.
