On 25 March, Ray-Ban held an exceptionally trendy event at the back of St. James Station in Hyde Park to celebrate the launch of Ray-Ban Rare Prints.
A cross between art exhibition, product launch and the hottest party in town, the Ray-Ban Rare Prints launch presented the eyewear brand’s latest collection for 2010. The Rare Prints collection features a range of colourful new patterns, and so Ray-Ban collaborated with some of the world’s best print makers to design posters inspired by each of these new patterns.
The limited edition posters, signed and numbered by the artists, were displayed around the ‘walls’ of the converted St James Station cafe.
This new eclectic collection of eyewear was admired by a suitably artistic crowd, with each guest in attendance seemingly cooler than the next. A photographer took happy snaps of the guests, many of whom opted to pose in either their own, or a display pair of wayfarers.
