Swedish eyewear manufacturer POC designs and produces gravity sports equipment to minimise the risk of accidents. The company’s new line of sunglasses with NXT lenses is no exception.
All POC sunglasses are fitted with NXT lenses. According to the company they impressive optical performance and guarantee extreme resistance to shock, temperature and chemicals.
“As far as the choice of materials and product manufacturing are concerned, we make no compromises when it comes to maximum safety, quality and performance. In the case of eyewear, the most important elements are the lenses. This is why we have chosen to fit NXT lenses in all the models in our sun collection,” said POC CEO Stefan Ytterborn.
POC offers three different lens levels based on the intended use: a basic lens with fixed colour, a polarised lens with high contrast definition (HCD) or a photochromic lens with HCD technology and/or polarising.
In addition, all POC lenses in NXT are finished with scratch-resistant, oleophobic, antiglare and water repelling treatments to protect them from scratching, dirt and distortion caused by drops of water.
