Style-wise, the Danes have done it again. Ørgreen has joined forces with exclusive furniture brand Republic of Fritz Hansen to collaborate on a series of Swan chairs and a special edition collection of eyewear.
The special edition København sunglasses range features Copenhagen’s beautiful skyline as a fine laser cut detail along the temples of the frame. The Swan chair, designed by the legendary Danish architect Arne Jacobsen in 1958, carries the same design as an elegant detail stitched on the wool front of the chair and classic full leather back.
The frames and chairs were unveiled in late 2010 at the London Design Festival and are expected to be stocked at high end optical and furniture stores around the world.
