Photographer and model Helena Christensen launched the 2011 Specsavers Spectacle Wearer of the Year (SWOTY) competition as part of the L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival in March.
The Danish beauty is a former Victoria’s Secret Angel and one of the top supermodels of the 90s, in a group which included Claudia Schiffer, Linda Evangelista, Cindy Crawford, Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell.
As an ambassador for Specsavers, Ms. Christensen will join Alex Perry (Designer), Grant Pearce (L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival Creative Director), Leea Charlwood (Scoop Management) and Melissa Hoyer (Grazia Magazine Editor) to judge the event.
The winner of SWOTY will receive a return airfare and accommodation for five nights in New York, a 12 month modelling contract with Scoop Management, some spending money and a fashion photography session with Helena Christensen.
