Eye care professionals are being encouraged to join AllAboutVision.com on Facebook to help raise funds for the work of Optometry Giving Sight.
For the whole month of May, AllAboutVision.com will donate to Optometry Giving Sight AUD$1 for every person who ‘likes’ its Facebook page (www.facebook.com/allaboutvision), and AUD$10 when its free news feed is added to an eye care practice’s Facebook page.
Just five ‘likes’ can provide an eye exam and a pair of eyeglasses to someone in a developing country through Optometry Giving Sight funded programs, which provide eye care services to people with little or no access to eye care, AllAboutVision.com publisher Ron Walker said.
