The 42nd edition of Mido, claimed to be the world’s most important international optical, optometry and ophthalmology exhibition, will take place in Milan, Italy on from Sunday 11 to Tuesday 13 March 2012.
The dates, which were to have been announced at the close of the 2011 event, were withheld due to negotiations with organisers, exhibitors and event visitors.
Members of the local optical profession had requested that the exhibition take place in the early part of the week when they are normally closed for business (in 2011 the event took place from Friday to Sunday).
At the last edition Mido’s results were good in terms of numbers, the overall quality of the exhibits, and response by visitors. Organisers have promised that 2012 will be another unmissable event for all operators in the eyewear industry.
