Carl Zeiss Vision says its new self-tinting lens – PhotoFusion – are up to two times faster in turning from dark to clear than its previous photochromic lenses.
The company says the main reason that more consumers don’t buy self-tinting lenses is that they take too long to turn dark or clear.
The secret behind PhotoFusion technology is patented photo-active molecules and Carl Zeiss Vision promises consumers will be “amazed” by the product’s speed.
