This MPDS is engineered with Ocutec Activity, which the company says, “conditions the lenses and increases ocular comfort while delivering broad-spectrum disinfection comparable to peroxide and outstanding antimicrobial efficacy”.

The dual disinfection system features broad-spectrum disinfection comparable to peroxide that sustains antimicrobial activity even under non-compliant conditions. AMO says this system is effective against Acanthamoeba, and highly effective for protein removal from a variety of SiHy and soft contact lenses. Additionally, they say, it offers excellent compatibility and comfort for Silicone Hydrogel (SiHy) and soft contact lens wearers. With low risk of corneal staining and adverse events, Revitalens Ocutec Multi-Purpose Disinfecting Solution provides an outstanding contact lens clean and comfortable wear.
