Digital Media an Effective Tool

In-store video screen advertising is proving to have a powerful impact on customers according to research into the eye2eye program.

The research, which was conducted by Barranell Consulting, found that 83 per cent of all customers noticed the screen in store and of those, 87 per cent continued to watch the content being displayed.

97 per cent of optometry customers interviewed in the research could recall advertised brands, products and messages and 93 per cent said they had “learnt something new”. 57 per cent went on to discuss one of the messages or products with the optometrist.

As well as promoting products and services, the research found that the eye2eye program is a useful tool for optometrists to use when educating customers. 86 per cent of customers interviewed reported that the optometrist used one of the messages displayed to explain a treatment or product.
