Only 12 months into their in-store video screen advertising venture through independent optometrists, newly released market research shows that The eye2eye Program is having a powerful impact on customers and providing a strategic tool to improve both sales and customer service in the retail optometry sector.
eye2eye media group has been offering independent practices a free 24″ LCD screen which plays silent optical messages, fully installed, at no cost to the practices. Over 465 practices across Australia and New Zealand have joined the program.
In this tough economic climate one important advantage this gives a practice is the potential to increase sales. Recent in-store research proves that 83% of customers notice the screen and 57% of those customers were prompted to discuss one of the messages or products with the optometrist. The result of this is an increase in product conversations between the optometrist and the patient which can translate to an increase in sales. The screen also provides relevant entertainment and information to patients while they are waiting for eye examinations.
eye2eye media group together with the support of the Optical Industry have developed this service free of charge to inform and educate patients while they wait to have their eyes tested. For more information Click here.
