mivision will close the year having become what we believe to be the most viewed optical news website in Australia and New Zealand. The latest figures, as recorded by Google Analytics, demonstrate that mivisionclean2.flywheelsites.com has superseded all previous traffic results.
As at 15 December, Google Analytics reported that in the past month (16 November -15 December) the mivision website received 7,526 unique visitors and a massive 33,423 individual page views.
This is the highest ever recorded traffic to the mivision website and reflects consistent growth since our website was launched in February 2010 (in the month of May that year, the site received a total of 2,850 unique visits with 14,606 individual page views).
The most popular pages viewed over the past month were the CPD modules as has been the case since we launched the CPD program in July 2011.
Mivision Social Media
Mivision‘s Facebook page – www.facebook.com/mivision – continues to grow at an average of 20 new members a day. With a current membership of 16,280 it remains the largest optical trade social media page in the world.
On Time, Every Time
Additionally the publication – mivision magazine – continues to deliver on the foundation promise we made to the optical profession when we launched back in 2006 – by publishing 11 issues each year, on time, every time.
According to the most recent data (September 11) released by the Circulations Audit Board (CAB), mivision is the only CAB audited optical publication in Australia to have published 11 issues in the latest yearly audit period (CAB reported that the ophthalmic newspaper, Insight, published only nine editions in the period).
