Transitions Aussie Open Giveaway

Transitions is using its sponsorship of the Australian Open telecast to air its new ‘Life Well Lit’ campaign, which will be linked to a social media campaign using Facebook and Twitter.

As part of the campaign, eyecare professionals will be offered the chance to win tickets to the Women’s Singles Final.

The ‘Life Well Lit’ campaign, which features on the Transitions Optical sponsored telecast of the Australian Open on Channels 7 and 7TWO, will show that light is not just light or dark, but everything in between.

Variations of the commercial will also encourage patients to check for their Certificate of Authenticity and take advantage of the Transitions “Love Them or Exchange Them” guarantee.

“The vibrant and inspiring new television commercial broadcasting to an astronomical audience is a massive opportunity for practices to leverage in store while our attention grabbing campaign is driving patients to practices,”

Marketing Manager of Transitions Optical Australia and New Zealand, Kate Mulcahy said.

The advertising campaign will be backed by news updates on the Australian Open, available through Transitions Optical’s Facebook and Twitter pages.

New free point of sale materials will be available for eyecare practices during the Australian Open to take advantage of the increased awareness of the product from the commercial and social media campaign.

To enter the competition to win a double pass to the Australian Open Women’s Finals, log onto to the company’s Facebook page: www.facebook.com/Transitionsanz

Twitter updates are available by following: www.twitter.com/TransitionsOZNZ.
