Italian fashion icon Stone Island has launched into eyewear with its first collection of modern designs an infusion of advanced technical solutions and craftsmanship.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column]
Key styles include sunglasses created with rims made from 100 per cent carbon fibre with a thickness of 3mm, created in a mould. The technology adopted and resistance tests employed are the same as those used for racing cars. These glasses are available in four different colours – black, green, blue and red – created by using coloured pigments suspended in transparent resin, which leaves the texture of the carbon fibre visible, with matte and anti-scratch treatments; they are limited editions, with just 400 pieces. All sunglasses are made in Italy and mounted with sun lenses by Carl Zeiss Vision.
