Carl Zeiss has extended its two-year manufacturer’s warranty against chipping, cracking and breakage for all 1.6 index lenses the company supplies or fits.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column]
This is in addition to the two-year manufacturer warranty Carl Zeiss offers on all of its lenses with hard-coat and anti-reflective coating.
To celebrate its 100-year anniversary, Carl Zeiss is running a special promotion aimed at upgrading patients to their 1.6AR coated freeform lenses. The company claims its 1.6 freeform is the “perfect choice” for most patients because it covers a wider range of prescriptions, all with wider fields of view. In addition, they say, “1.6 freeform is stronger, thinner and lighter, making it suitable for any frame, especially rimless, nylon and reverse bevel”.
