Save Sight Institute, an ophthalmic research centre of The University of Sydney, has been named the co-beneficiary of the NSW Parliamentary Lions Club’s gala dinner on Thursday 20th September.
Celebrating its ten-year anniversary, and to be held at NSW Parliament House, dinner guests will include a broad range of politicians, ophthalmologists, equipment suppliers, academics and corporate sponsors.
Guests will be invited to have their eyes assessed by Save Sight Institute ophthalmologists, with Optos making available their ultra-widefield retinal imaging equipment to showcase its features.
Proceeds from the evening will be donated to Save Sight Institute and The George Institute (also affiliated with the university) for medical research.
