Luxottica has been recognised as the ‘Emerging Franchisor of the Year’ at the 2012 NAB FCA Excellence in Franchising Awards, run by the Franchise Council of Australia.
The gala event, which was held recently in Canberra, honoured market leaders in the franchise sector. Luxottica was recognised for exceptional business planning, leadership, cultivating strong franchise relationships and developing its people to provide the best support for franchise partners.
According to the company, Luxottica’s Franchise Network, established in 2008, will welcome its 100th Franchise Partner soon and is on track for significant growth over the next two years.
Peter Baily, Director, Franchising and Acquisitions at Luxottica, believes the early success of the program has been driven by strong relationships developed with franchise partners and the company’s “world class” franchise system.
