The Optos P200C ultra-widefield retinal imaging device produces high resolution digital images of approximately 82 per cent of the retina to provide optometrists with enhanced clinical information.
The non-mydriatic scanning laser ophthalmoscope provides a comprehensive 200° view of the retina in one image, compared to 45° captured with traditional techniques. It takes less than one second and can capture the image through most cataracts. Images are displayed immediately and stored electronically for future comparison or telemedicine applications.
The P200C has advanced features such as Guided Eye Steering to allow imaging beyond 200°
and ResMax imaging for central pole resolution enhancement. It also offers a smaller footprint for practices limited by floor space. A flexible patient interface, adjustable chinrest and automatic
iris detection, makes the P200C easy to use and comfortable for the patient.
