Inspired by old military glacier glasses supplied during the Second World War and found on a peak in the Domolites in 2009, Italy’s Hapter released its first collection at Mido in March.
In a discreet and harmonious range of colours influenced by natural hues, the Txt1001 collection is characterised by a distinctive texture achieved by the fusion of surgical steel and fabrics inspired by military uniforms of the 20s and 40s.
Hapter’s collection became the first Italian eyeglasses not yet on the market to win the prestigious 2013 iF Product Design Award.
