
Ms. Rozario has moved from Mondottica to join ProOptics this month (April). Jacque Katsieris, who heads up ProOptics said she is thrilled to have Ms. Rozario on board. “ProOptics will be strengthened by Gloria’s extensive experience in the eyewear industry and her strong relationships with optical retailers in New South Wales and Canberra,” she said. “We are very pleased that she has joined us.”
Ms. Rozario began her career in optics in Kuwait and moved to Australia in 1988. She worked with Essilor in customer service before moving into sales to represent the Cartier brand. In 2000 Ms. Rozario was appointed by Mondottica to look after customers in New South Wales, Canberra and later, Perth.
Ms. Rozario told mivision she is excited about her new role. “I’m delighted, excited and looking forward to working with Pro Optics, and representing the company’s high fashion products,” she said.
Sydney based ProOptics distributes the eyewear brands Seraphin and OGI as well as its own brands, Empire New York and Random.
