The multi –award winning eyeclarity optical retail group has won another award for its Melton practice.
After picking up the Powercor Melton Best Personal Service Business Award last year, the practice has now been recognised for its professionalism, service commitment and focus on innovation with the 2013 Powercor Major City of Melton Award in Innovation.
In announcing the award, the judges said “eyeclarity has developed unique concepts and practices in eye care that have seen them remain at the forefront of what is an extremely competitive market.
“They have done this by investing in technology that trains and develops staff as leaders in their field. Some of these innovations include multi-store management models, 360 staff review software and the judges were especially impressed with the innovative software that eyeclarity uses for its sales, processes and importantly their staff training, which has resulted in increased sales and customer advocacy.”
The award was presented at a prestigious event at Witchmount Estate, Rockbank in May, which attracted over 260 business and community representatives. Other businesses received awards for the Business of the Year; Apprentice of the Year; Leaders in Sustainability; Best Access for all Abilities; People’s Choice and Mayoral Achievement.
Melton City Mayor, Cr. Kathy Majdlik, said the awards celebrated the excellence and innovation of businesses within the City of Melton.
