Professor Evans is primarily in Australia to speak about using colorimetry to provide precision tinted lenses both for migraine and to alleviate visual stress that can cause visual perceptual problems in printed text.
He uses Colorimetry in the clinic at the prestigious Institute of Optometry in London and in his own practice in Brentwood, Essex, where he operates a specific learning difficulties clinic.
This is Professor Evan’s third visit to Australia where he has PhD students at the University of New South Wales.
In Sydney on 1 July at the UNSW Prof. Evans will speak on optometric uses of precision tinted lenses. Additionally, he will present ‘Migraine and other headaches: The role of the optometrist’.
