The Eyeplus Group, an optical buying group supporting independent optical retail practices, will change its name to Eyebenefit.
Director of Eyebenefit, Ken Rogers, says the brand name change is a “strategic move to stand out from the crowd and drive brand engagement”.
“Eyebenefit truly represents who we are and what we’re about and will help us stand out in a cluttered Australian optical market,” he says.
The company has designed a logo with a new icon and fresh typeface to provide them with a strong visual identity.

Mr. Rogers says “the new icon is created out of two circles merging together to create an eye symbol. This represents members working together for a common benefit. Our new logo points the way to an exciting future for our company and our customers.”
The company will “continue to focus on offering great product discounts and providing the best services and innovation to members, including a “no-fee” membership,” said Mr. Rogers.
As an optical buying group Eyebenefit negotiate competitive prices for products on behalf of its members. The groups do not charge a membership fee or fees to access product discounts.
The new rebranding will come into effect from 1 July 2013.
