It’s all happening for Queensland right now – State of Origin, a Queenslander reinstated as Prime Minister and next week, ODMA 2013.
With just one week to go you can still register to attend the optical industries showcase event, which Expertise Events – the conference organisers – say will be “supersized with fresh initiatives, the latest and greatest products and services and the most extensive education program ever undertaken”.
Over 120 exhibitors will show their products and services at ODMA 2013 and a host of eye health experts will present workshops as well as lectures at the inaugural ODMA CPD Conference.
Finola Carey, CEO of ODMA said the response to the event, which for the first time is to be held in Brisbane, has been positive. Approximately 400 people have registered to attend the CPD conference, several masterclasses are at capacity, and over 500 people have confirmed their attendance at the gala dinner.
Exhibition visitor pre-registrations have passed 2,500, with the bulk of those coming from Queensland (44 per cent) and NSW (24 per cent). With growth in registrations coming from Western Australia, New Zealand and Victoria organisers expect numbers to increase in the final lead up to ODMA 2013.
“ODMA 2013 is your industry’s showcase where all proceeds are ploughed back into projects to assist the independent optical market. All independent practices should attend and support the exhibitors who support them,” Finola Carey, CEO ODMA.
ODMA 2013 will be held at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre. To register or for more details, go to: www.odma-2013.com.au.
