Independent optometrists are being encouraged to follow the lead of their UK counterparts, by using new technologies to turn best practice into profit.
Successful British optometrists Mr. Nick Rumney and Dr. Trusit Dave are guest speakers at an information evening, to be held by Device Technologies and Topcon, at ODMA 2013, and will explore the dilemmas associated with investing in new technology, such as OCT.
Both men are early adopters of new technologies, and have used them to change their business models, allowing them to combine “clinical application with commercial nous”.
