New York luxury eyewear company Selima Optique has collaborated with fashion stylists Anda and Masha to create two unique sunglass styles. The stylists, who have designed for the likes of Anne Hathaway and Drew Barrymore, Rhianna and Alicia Keys, were inspired for their first eyewear collection by 60s icons, musician Joni Mitchell and Warhol superstar Nico.
“We absolutely wanted to stay timeless and classic with our first collection, and came up with two styles that we would want to wear and want to dress our clients in. The colours and details tie-in with what’s current in the season,” said Anda and Masha of their debut collection.
“The Joni (pictured) and Nico evoke the cool French New Yorker, the classic type, just about everyone – guys and girls alike. And while the Joni is more fashion-forward, we find the Nico to be entirely unisex,” they said.
Handmade in France, each frame style is available in four colours, from subtle pastels
to must-have black and tortoise.
