Aspiring PM Guides Vision Impaired Triathlete in City to Surf

Aspiring Prime Minister, Tony Abbott helped guide a vision impaired athlete Nathan Johnstone in the 14km City to Surf event in Sydney yesterday (12 August).

Mr. Johnstone, 27, is a keen triathlete who began to lose his vision at the age of 14. He now has just 10 per cent vision remaining and hopes to compete at the Rio Paralympics.

Mr. Abbott and Mr. Johnstone, who also ran together in the 42km Sydney marathon last year, completed the event in 1 hour, 21min and 21 seconds.
