Proving that Australians can conquer the world is iconic eyewear designer Paul Taylor. Having relaunched his brand last year, he’s making inroads in Asia and New Zealand – and of course locally he has a dedicated following.
Paul has just released his 2014 Black Label collection and, as you’d expect, it’s absolutely stunning.
Inspired by the Golden Age of the 50s, this collection features Taylor’s famous ‘cats-eye’ style reworked in a more subtle oval shape suited to the everyday wearer. He’s added in other retro styles as well, ensuring there’s something sensational for both men and women.
Pictured here is the Jordan, a rectangular boxed shape men’s frame with a thick frame reminiscent of Clark Kent. The Jordan is available as a sunglass and an optical frame in olive green, charcoal, matt black, black, tortoiseshell and deep blue. Lenses are from Carl Zeiss and are also offered in a mirrored finish. All Paul Taylor frames are entirely made in Italy, using mazzucchelli acetate. Visit www.paultaylor.com.au
