MIDO 2014 the World’s Largest Exhibition of all Things Optical

There are four major fashion capitals in the world: New York, Paris, London, and of course, Italy’s fashion mecca, Milan.

In March next year Milan will play host to MIDO 2104, the biggest fashion eyewear event in the world.

Mido is the international optics, optometry and ophthalmology exhibition where the latest trends in shape, colour and style are showcased to the most discerning and fashion forward audience from around the world.

In 2013, despite a slow economy, this annual exhibition attracted 43,000 visitors who came from around the world to see the wares of over 1,000 exhibitors.

Highlights of Mido 2014 will include the Mido Design Lab, with the dedicated Mido Trend area. Here you’ll witness the most innovative designs and creations in eyewear on this planet. Exhibitors are selected by a special commission, and, much like an avant garde art gallery, the multitude of shapes, materials, exclusive patents and colours they have on show here, will fill you with inspiration.

The Mido Fashion District is home to the most high profile eyewear companies, companies that are
well established in the world and boast the product that can only come with unparalleled R&D efforts. It’s the perfect place to find the big sellers that will boost your sales from day one.

Then there’s the Asian exhibition area, which reflects the growing strength of eyewear companies operating within the Asian region. On the more practical side of the industry is Mido Tech – the world’s largest exhibition area totally devoted to technologies, machinery and raw materials. Here more than 150 exhibitors from all over the world present the very latest in eyewear equipment, small parts, components and finishes.

Mido 2014 will take place from 1 March at Fieramilano, Strada Statale del Sempione, 28-20017 Rho, Milan. For information go to: www.mido.com
