Eyecare Plus founder Tony Hanks OAM has been reappointed as chairman of the company’s board at the Eyecare Plus 12th Annual General Meeting on October 12, 2013 in Sydney. Additionally, Toowoomba optometrist and Eyecare Plus member Justin Durkin was voted on to the board.
Two board positions were declared vacant by rotation at the AGM. Directors typically serve three-year terms prior to having to retire but may then stand for re-election.
Eyecare Plus Ltd. is a public, unlisted company owned by its member optometrists. The directors are elected by the member shareholders.
