Specsavers Franchisor of the Year

Specsavers has been recognised as the 2013 ‘Established Franchisor of the Year’ by the Franchising Council of Australia (FCA). Additionally, the franchise won the Excellence in Marketing Award for its work on developing and implementing the 2013 Alex Perry, Collette Dinnigan and SuperTough Lenses campaigns.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column]

The awards conclude a year of wins including being named ‘Australian Retailer of the Year’ and ‘Australian Retail Employer of the Year’.

The FCA noted that Specsavers had experienced extraordinary growth since its arrival in Australia in 2008.

“Since 2008, Specsavers has opened almost 300 stores from scratch. Just five years on, the stores collectively recorded AU$533 million in sales last year, representing 22 per cent year-on-year growth. As a franchisor it has shown the leadership, developed the systems and provided the support to enable more than 500 local people to go into business for themselves as Specsavers franchise partners,” a spokesperson for the FCA said.
