CooperVision’s new MyDay daily disposable lenses are now available in Australia. Featuring Smart Silicone, MyDay lenses (stenfilcon A) create efficient channels for oxygen delivery to the cornea.
With less silicone needed to achieve the desired oxygen permeability levels, the efficient silicone network has more room for increased hydrophilic materials. This improve lens surface wettability, and provides a higher water content and a lower, hydrogel-like modulus for a softer, more comfortable wearing experience.
MyDay was named ‘Best Product, Contact Lens’ in the prestigious 2013 Silmo d’Or honors. The lenses are available in powers from +6.00 to -10.00D (0.50D steps after -6.00D). The 8.40/14.20 versatile single-fit design has been shown to fit a very wide range of eyes. The lenses also feature a UV inhibitor, which blocks 75 per cent of UVA and 99 per cent of UVB rays.
