Transitions Still Aust/NZ Focused

Transitions Optical has moved to reassure the Australian and New Zealand eye health profession that it is focused on continuing its strong brand presence in the Asia Pacific following the company’s re-structuring in April this year.

Regional Business Development Director for Transitions Optical Asia Pacific, Stuart Cannon, said Transitions Optical will grow the brand through collaboration with optical partners and investing in consumer brand building activity. He said the organisation is confident this new strategy will provide growth and value to all partners in the industry.

“We have a high level of consumer awareness and a strong trade presence in Australia and New Zealand that we will continue to drive,” said Mr. Cannon. “All partners are valuable to us, and as we streamline our distribution a key focus is also to provide support to our direct customers, Lenscasters, for our mutual benefit,” he added.

Transitions Optical President, Paddy McDermott, said it is important to bring Transitions’ leading technology in adaptive lenses to the Australia and New Zealand market, and promote it.

“We see a great mutual opportunity to continue driving consumer demand and providing our partners with appropriate support to leverage their already extensive resources within the ANZ market.”

Transitions Optical’s business approach in Australia and New Zealand is part of a global strategic focus aimed to increase efficiency, continue to strengthen the brand, and drive growth across the photochromic category for all customers.
