Australian and international technology suppliers will exhibit at Texpo, a seminar program will run and an audio described cinema lounge will provide visual information in the gaps between dialogues.
Vision Australia’s specialist staff will be on hand to discuss strategies to increase independence and employment opportunities for people with visual impairment.
Texpo 2014 is open to eye health professionals as well as people who are visually impaired, their family, friends and the general public. Access is free. The exhibition will take place in Melbourne at Vision Australia; 454 Glenferrie Rd, Kooyong. (Friday 10 October 10am – 4pm and Saturday 11 October 10am – 3pm).
In Sydney Texpo will take place at Vision Australia; 4 Mitchell St, Enfield (Friday 17 October 10am – 4pm and Saturday 18 October 10am – 3pm).
