Eyes Right Optical has been announced as the National Winner of the 2015 Australian Achiever Award for Australia’s Specialised Services – Optical Frame Wholesale and Distribution Services category.
Now in their 17th year, the Australian Achiever Awards are an independent, unbiased award system based on assessment ratings from companies’ own clients.
The award focuses on seven criteria, namely: time related service, addressing client needs, care and attention, value, attitude, communication and overall perception.
Criteria are rated individually in percentage terms and the final score is an amalgam of these. Anything above 80 per cent overall is regarded as exceptional and reflects outstanding customer service. Eyes Right Optical achieved a 99.26 per cent overall score for customer service and relations, topping all other Australias specialised services businesses.
In their submission a client noted, “I have built up a very good relationship with everyone at Eyes Right Optical over all the years I have been using them. This is because they are a family-run business who understand their customers and who are so good at how they run things that their staff never leave. In fact, they are the best I have ever dealt with”.
Another client wrote, “I have been with them for years and years and I reckon they are a great Australian business. Their customer service and product range are very good indeed and their attitude just makes them very good to deal with”.
A third client said, “In my opinion, I believe they are the leaders of their industry. If I could, I would set them up in my backyard and that way they could deliver their product even faster than other businesses who are closer. They are just the best”.
Established by Gaye and David Wymond in 1992 by combining their optical and business expertise, Eyes Right Optical now operates with a staff of 25. The business distributes quality frames to the Australian and New Zealand markets with an emphasis on efficiency, expertise and dedicated customer service.
In April 2015 the company received the Highly Recommended Australian Achiever Award.
