
Givenchy’s new Spring/Summer 2016 eyewear collection, produced and distributed by Safilo Group will be launched next month (January).
The new sunglasses and optical frames reflect the Italian brand’s codes and explore bold architectural designs.
The timeless shapes are deliberately unisex and convey Givenchy’s identity through iconic detailing. Stylised stars feature on the front, small metal teardrops on the temple tips, golden studs all over the profiles and staples fuse into hinges.
The Givenchy S/S 2016 eyewear collection includes four stylistic groups:
• Rave: young, edgy, urban styles with bright colours and a bold mix of materials
• Style: avant-garde pieces with strong architectural shapes
• Icons: refined frames combining Givenchy DNA and current trends
• Star: timeless shapes featuring the iconic ‘star’detail
The colour palette of this new collection comprises classic shades and edgy contrasts, from black to nude, red, white, and sophisticated mirror effects, paired with shaded or flash lenses, for a bold style statement.
