
Business Snapshot Seminars, featuring the Internationally renowned speaker Mark Davis, will be a key feature of the new O-Show, which takes place in Melbourne from 21– 22 May.
The business seminars will explore how to create value in order to secure and retain customers, discussing everything from first impressions and crafting a customer service experience, to closing the sale quickly. A second Snap Shot Seminar presented by Mr. Davis will highlight how to educate customers with expertise from building a rapport and creating no-risk sales pitches, to rejection free closing. Mr. Davis resides in Australia having conducted public speaking, social media and internet marketing workshops across the USA, UK Canada, Australia, Singapore, Malaysia and more.
Maximising the digital world in the optical industry will also be a highlight of the Snapshot Seminar Series. Best practices of online marketing and how to master the art of personalised patient messaging will be presented by Robert Springer, who will also cover off how online reviews impact Google rankings.
A presentation on what’s hot in window displays will be conducted by Kerry van Beuge, a highly acclaimed retail stylist who specialises in the optical industry. Ms. van Beuge will discuss design tips, upcoming trends and what to do with all the point of sale items that end up in your office.

As well as presentations, hands on demonstrations will run every 30 minutes on the ‘spotlight stage’ as well as on stands of key exhibiting companies.
More than 30 Australian equipment, sunglass, frame, and lens suppliers have confirmed their participation in the inaugural O-Show event from 21 –22 May at Peninsula in Melbourne.
