EasyTear is a cost effective and portable, non-invasive device for observing the anterior ocular surface.
The EasyTear highlights the condition of the tear film, the anterior surface of the cornea and meibomian glands, and the fit of contact lenses. This devise uses three types of LED lighting: white, blue and infrared, which facilitates better light diffusion and provides a calibrated colour rendering constant to minimise any alteration and drying of the film tear during examination.
EasyTear is supplied with a set of six grids for NIBUT evaluation (non-invasive break up time of the Tear Film), a yellow filter and is easily adaptable to most slit lamps. An optional wireless infrared camera is available for capturing images.
