Optometry Victoria has just announced that the profession’s flagship CPD event – Southern Regional Congress – will next year move back to its ‘spiritual home’ in May.
Pete Haydon CEO Optometry Australia Victoria said SRC will run from 27 and 28 May at the Pullman Hotel.
With a few of the bumps from this year ironed out the outlook for 2017 looks encouraging.
“We’ll be making some significant changes to the Pullman venue layout – both the theatres and the trade show – and we’re certain these will lead to a fantastic experience for delegates and exhibitors alike. By streamlining traffic flows, expanding open spaces around the trade areas, and broadening our reach utilising the entire hotel complex, we know we’ll deliver the most professional, brightest and best SRC ever,” said Mr. Haydon.
