This year’s Southern Regional Congress (SRC) in May will include a program of events tailored to meet students’ needs.
The Student Meet-Up @ SRC on Saturday, 27 May will provide important career information and industry connections. The program includes a live stream of the SRC keynote lecture, by Dr. Ben Gaddie titled ‘Congenital and Acquired Diseases of the Optic Nerve’, an Optometry Victoria Careers Information and discussion panel followed by an informal Q and A session with an early-career optometrist panel, and a Careers Expo to facilitate a direct connection with potential employers.
At the day’s conclusion, attendees are invited to join Young Optometrists Victoria for a drink and social event.
